Top Web Design Firms

So you’re looking for top web design firms. Of course, we all want the best, but when selecting top web design firms what should we look for? After hearing so many horror stories from clients who went with the worst web design firms, I put together a check list of what to look for.
1.) Look at their portfolio. A top web design firm will have a great web design portfolio. Look at the details of the website they created. Does everything line up? Do they use consistent fonts? Look for page errors and bad navigation. These are sure signs of a bad web design firm.
2.) Who are their clients? If your a large firm then make sure the web design firm you select has worked for large firms. Corporate clients have different needs and require different attention then small businesses.
3.) Meet their team. A top web design firm will invite you to their office to meet their team. Be careful of firms who are hesitant to let you visit their offices. You may find out their office is in another country or in their Mom’s basement. These are signs of extremely bad customer service to come.
4.) References. There is nothing wrong with asking for references from a top web design firm. When you speak to one of their previous clients ask them how their experience was.
5.) How much do they cost? Remember you get what you pay for. Sure, you can find a small web design firm to build you a website for a couple thousand dollars. Just remember if you launch a decent looking website that poorly communicates to your customers you have just waisted your money. Now try to find that same website in Google. If your on page 10, page 27 or page 100, again, you’ve just waisted your money. A website is a fantastic investment, spend the money and you will get your return.
