Credibility, Trust, and Web Design

One of the most important aspects of developing a successful business website is creating an atmosphere of trust and credibility, because you want visitors to feel comfortable working with and/or purchasing products from your company.  In fact, one of our web design company’s specialties is designing and building business websites, with a focus on clean design and an optimal user experience.

The vast majority of business websites exist for one purpose and one purpose only - to convert visitors into customers and clients.  Naturally, people want to patronize businesses they trust, so it is important that your company website be easy to navigate and represent your brand and credibility online.  And as you are probably aware, website with lots of flashy bells and whistles, or with elements that do not load correctly (or simply don’t work) does not engender a feeling of reliability - if a company can’t keep their website running properly, who knows what other issues come up down the road?

Furthermore, it is important to assess your competitors and their websites, because different industries have different standards (yes, even when it comes to web design).  Something creative and conceptual may be appropriate for a high fashion brand, for instance, but the same style would be completely wrong for a real estate agency.  Working with a web design company that understands that every industry and market is different, and is capable of tailoring their approach to a unique audience is key to creating a credible, trustworthy website that positively reflects your brand on the web.
