Many businesses lose potential conversions because of a simple content flaw on their homepage - they do not list all their services and product categories clearly. For example, say you are looking for a web design company in Chicago to build a site for your new business. You may come across a professional looking company in your area whose portfolio you love but you don’t know if they can handle search engine optimization and online marketing as well; however, the complete list of solutions that the company offers is no where to be found and therefore you are probably unlikely to contact them.

You need to think about what your site says about you and your brand, because different styles give different impressions. Even something as simple as the color of your site’s background matters; for example, a black background evokes a very different mood than a white or light colored one.
